Eddie Whitney of London, England and formerly of 9 Chapel St., Graiguecullen, Laois/Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on 10 February at Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny.

Beloved husband of the late Philomena, much loved father of Bobby and the late Sammy and cherished brother of Michael, Mary, Ber and the late Tommy and Dinny (Denis).

He will be sadly missed by his loving son, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law Gene and Ashley, sisters-in-law Anne, Joan and Breeda, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Eddie’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace 

Reposing at 9 Chapel St., Graiguecullen, Carlow (Eircode R93 XW52) from 2pm on Thursday, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening.

Removal on Friday at 9.45am to St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to Carpenter Bros Cremation Chapel, Shamrock Sq for Cremation Service at 12 noon.
