Laois death notice: Edith Ward (née Abraham), Portarlington

Edith Ward (née Abraham), Eden House, Portlaoise Road, Portarlington, Laois and formerly of Ballyhoran, Camross, Mountrath, Laois passed away peacefully at home on 20 December, in the care of her son and daughter.

Predeceased by her husband Denis and her brothers and sisters Barbara, Dick, Tom, Geraldine and Eric.

Edith will be lovingly remembered and missed beyond words by her loving son Adrian, daughter Gillian, son-in-law Adam, granddaughter Emily, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and her close group of friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (R32 X5XV) on Sunday evening from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Removal from her residence on Monday at 2pm (travelling via Foxcroft Street), arriving at St Paul's Church, French Church Street, Portarlington (R32 DW77) for Funeral Service at 2.30pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

House strictly private, please.
