Laois death notice: Edward (Ned) Haslam, Portlaoise

Edward (Ned) Haslam, Dysart, Portlaoise, Laois and Watergrasshill, Co Cork died peacefully on 1 November, surrounded by his family, at the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.

Predeceased by his parents John and Ellen, brothers Thomas and Abraham and sisters Mary and Josephine.

Dearly loved father to Thomas, Sharon, Edward, Lorraine, Damien and Conor and their mother Geraldine. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sons in law, daughters in law, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Robert, sisters Sheila, Bridget and Teresa, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, nieces, nephews, relatives and former colleagues in the transport industry.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Keegan’s funeral home, Portlaoise on Monday from 6.30pm until 8pm, with rosary at 7.30pm.

Removal on Tuesday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 11am requiem mass. 

Interment will take place in his family plot in Ratheniska.
