Laois death notice: Edward (Ted) Brophy, Mountrath

Edward (Ted) Brophy, Trumera, Mountrath, Laois passed away peacefully on Thursday 11 June, surrounded by his loving family and under the exceptional care of the staff of the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.

Predeceased by his wife Margaret (née Doorey).

Ted will be sadly missed by his daughters and sons Lorraine, Aoife, Enda and Cathal, brother Sean, grandchildren Dylan, Josh, Aoibheann, Cian, Saoirse and Eoghan, son-in-law David Keyes and Peadar Graham, daughters-in-law Mary and Niamh, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May Ted Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Friday 12 June from 6pm, concluding with rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Saturday to St Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by burial in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Ted’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on the church webcam.
