Laois death notice: Elizabeth (Betty/Lizzie) Curran (née Phelan), Mountrath

Elizabeth (Betty) (Lizzie) Curran (née Phelan), Greenhills, Dublin and formerly of Mountrath, Laois, died peacefully on 18 April, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park.

Beloved wife of Michael (Mick), loving mam of Michael, Louise, Emer and the late Melanie and a much loved granny of Andrew, Ross, Eamonn, Tim, Ciara, Alex and Saoirse.

Betty will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving husband, children, son-in-law Greig, grandchildren, great-grandchildren Evie, Isla, Maisie and Indie, sisters Sheila, Alo and Bernie, brothers Willie, Mick and Eddie, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Betty rest in peace.

Funeral Mass on Saturday 25 April at 10am in Church of the Holy Spirit, Greenhills will be followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery. Betty’s Funeral Mass can be viewed on the link on RIP.ie.
