Laois death notice: Ernest Patrick (Pat) Beaton, Stradbally 

Ernest Patrick (Pat) Beaton, Ardskeabeag, Ballyglunin, Tuam, Galway/Corofin, Galway and formerly of Ashington Cresent, Dublin and Stradbally, Laois peacefully passed away at University Hospital Galway on 28 November in his 85th year, surrounded by his loving family.

Darling beloved husband of Una (née Deegan) and adoring dad of Caroline, he will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughter, son in-law Rachid Bounaaja, his adorable grandchildren Nohaila, Layla and Adam, brothers in-law Hugh, John and his wife Mary, cousins, relatives neighbours and close friends. Predeceased by his brother Ken.

Reposing at St Colman's room, adjoining St Colman's Church, Corofin (H54X768) on Monday from 4pm to 5.30pm.

Requiem mass for Pat on Tuesday at 10am in St Colman's Church, Corofin, followed by interment in Oakvale Cemetery, Stradbally, Laois.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Parkinson's Association, Galway or Western Alzheimers, Claregalway.

House private on Tuesday morning.
