Laois death notice: Florence (Florrie) Foley (née Cassidy), Rathdowney

Florence (Florrie) Foley (née Cassidy), Rathdowney and 6 Ceannt Fort, Dublin 8, died peacefully on 25 July at Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington, Co Laois, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Frank. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Claire, Fran, Olive, Phil and Pauline, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchild, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Florrie's gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Saturday 26 July from 6pm, pausing for prayer at 7.30pm.

Removal on Monday morning to Palmerstown Cemetery, arriving for interment at 1pm. Messages of condolence can be placed on the page provided on Rip.ie. Family flowers only please.

Florrie's family would like to take this opportunity to thank most sincerely the management, nurses and staff at Oakdale Nursing Home for their excellent care and attention shown to Florrie throughout her stay.
