Laois death notice: George Quinlan, Ballyroan

George Quinlan, Redhill, Ballyroan, Laois and St Brigid’s Nursing Home, Shaen, Portlaoise, died peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, on Sunday 11 January.

Predeceased by his beloved parents Ellen and John and his brother Seanie.

George will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Lizzy and his children Ellen, Anthony, Hannah, Joanne, Simon, Samantha, Steven and Sally, his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends and by the wonderful staff of Shaen Nursing Home, who cared for him so well.

May George rest in peace.

Reposing at St Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm, with Rosary at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan, followed by burial immediately afterwards in St Brigid's Cemetery, Ballinakill.
