Laois death notice: Gerry Mortimer, Mountrath

Gerry Mortimer, Lisaroon, Ballycahill, Thurles, Tipperary and formerly Mountrath, Laois passed away on 26 April, in the wonderful care of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen, his parents Mary and Timothy, his brothers Paddy, Timmy, Tony, Oliver and Seamus, sisters Marie, Elsie, Peggy and infant sister Anne.

He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Caroline and Gillian, sons-in-law Denis and Rob, adored grandchildren Brandon, Chloe, Leah, Rebecca, Paige, Vanessa and Andrew, his great-grandson Donagh, brother Joe, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

REST IN PEACE 

Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles (E41 XY 47) this Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm, to arrive in St Laurence O'Toole Church, Inch at 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11.30am, followed by burial in St Patrick's cemetery, Thurles.
