Laois death notice: Hannah Burke (née Byrne), Ballickmoyler

Hannah Burke (née Byrne), Ardenteggle, Ballickmoyler, Laois/Carlow and formerly Freneystown, Castlewarren, Co Kilkenny passed away peacefully, aged 90, in the loving care of the Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow on 28 May.

Predeceased by her parents William and Ellen, her husband Edward (Ned), her sisters Statia, Kathleen, Mary and Brigid and brother Johnny.

Deeply regretted by her loving children John, Billy, Kathleen and Eamon, John's wife Martina, Billy’s partner Eve and Kathleen's husband Des, her brother Jimmy and his wife Betty, her brother Patsy and her sister in law Marie, her adoring grandchildren Cathal, Áine, Ella, Ciarán, Caoimhe, Ailbhe, Aoife, Hannah and Erin, her extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

May Hannah Rest in Peace.

Hannah will repose at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow (R93 C863) on Saturday 30 May from 3pm, concluding with prayers at 7.45pm that evening.

Removal from there on Sunday at 1pm to the Holy Cross Church, Killeshin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
