Laois death notice: Hughie (Hugh) Murphy, Rathdowney/Borris-in-Ossory

Hughie (Hugh) Murphy, Knockiel Drive, Rathdowney, Laois/Borris-in-Ossory, Laois passed away peacefully on 18 April, after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving and devoted family in the exceptional care of the staff at St Clare's Ward, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by his father Hughie, grandparents Mary and Paddy Houlihan (Garron, Borris-in-Ossory).

Hughie will be dearly missed by his mother Winnie (née Houlihan) and her partner Steve, brother Garvin, aunts Maureen, Dymphna, Joan and Kathleen, uncle Dan, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Hughie Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown (Eircode R32TN84), this Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm.

Hughie's funeral cortege will arrive at St Fergal's Church, Camross on Wednesday for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St Fergal's Cemetery, Camross.

House private please.
