Laois death notice: James Francis Smith, Portlaoise

James Francis Smith, Elmgrove, Ballydavis, Portlaoise, Laois passed away peacefully on 12 May, surrounded by his loving family, at Oghill Nursing Home, Monasterevin, Co Kildare.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Pauline.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving daughter Paula, son Bernard, son-in-law Frank, daughter-in-law Lorraine, his doting dog Alfie, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

May James Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown (R32TN84) this Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Removal from Guilfoyle's Funeral Home on Friday at 9am, to arrive at the Church of the Assumption, The Heath (R32TN88) for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
