Laois death notice: Jimmy Murphy, Crettyard

Jimmy Murphy, Monavea, Crettyard, Laois/Carlow, passed away peacefully at his residence on 19 October.

Beloved husband of Ann, much loved father of Pat, Tom, Mike, Jim, Mary, Frank, Jacko and adored grandfather to all his grandchildren.

Predeceased by his brothers Paddy and Tommy, he will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and daughter, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Jimmy’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow (R93 C863) from 3pm on Monday and Tuesday, concluding with prayers at 7pm each evening.

Removal from his residence on Wednesday at 11.30am to St Mary’s Church, Mayo, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. House strictly private on Wednesday morning please. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please.
