Laois death notice: Joan Kirwan (née Carroll), Borris-in-Ossory

Joan Kirwan (née Carroll), Townspark, Borris-in-Ossory, Laois/Roscrea, Tipperary 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Kirwan, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who died peacefully on 28 October. Joan lived a life full of love, kindness and generosity.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Nan, brother Sonny and sisters Anna and May.

She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband John, her children Jonathan, Pádraig, Jude, Michael and Siobhán, her grandchildren Cameron, Erika, Eve, Alexander, Amellia, Jackson, Eoghan and Cian, her sister Lily and brother Tony, her son-in-law Jonny and her daughters-in-law Amanda, Tanya and Simi and all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.

Rest in peace.

Reposing in Tierney's Funeral Home, Roscrea on Friday from 5pm to 7pm.

Private removal from her residence on Saturday at 11.15am, arriving in St Cronan's Church, Roscrea for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining new cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Asthma Association of Ireland.
