Laois death notice: John O’Brien, Portlaoise

John O’Brien (Retired Prison Officer, Portlaoise Prison) of 38 Avondale Drive, Hanover, Carlow and Lanzarote, Spain, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on 14 March at Portlaoise Regional Hospital.

Predeceased by his nephew David Beloved father of Kate and Sean, much loved brother of Lorraine, Eddie, Alan and the late Martin, treasured partner of Linda and cherished son of the late Teresa and Murt.

He will be sadly missed by his loving son, daughter, son-in-law Damien, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law Marie and Charlene, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
