Laois death notice: Kay Conroy (née Breen), Portlaoise

Kay (Catherine) Conroy (née Breen), Newpark, Portlaoise and formerly Garbally, Shinrone, Offaly died peacefully on 13 December in her 92nd year, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Joe. Dearly loved mother to Ray, Paul, Helen (Bergin), Gordon, Barry (Brussels), Maeve (Armitage) (Australia).

Predeceased by her brothers Donal and Tadhg. Deeply regretted by her family, sons in law John and Rod, daughters in law Liz, Hazel, Maura and Ulrike and her dearly loved 17 grandchildren, sisters in law Breda Breen and Frances Conroy, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and former colleagues in the nursing profession.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Keegan’s funeral home on Sunday from 6.30pm until 8pm, with rosary at 7.30pm.

Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise on Monday for 1pm requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s cemetery, Portlaoise.
