Laois death notice: Kay (Teenie) Casserly (née Kelly), Abbeyleix

Kay (Teenie) Casserly (née Kelly), Cedarwood Avenue, Loughboy, Kilkenny and formerly of Abbeyleix, Laois passed away peacefully on 30 August in her 93rd year, surrounded by family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Tinnypark Nursing Home, Kilkenny.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, her sons Michael and Jarlath, sister Noreen and brother Seamus.

Much loved mother of Brendan, Ann and Joe. Kay will be dearly missed by her loving family, sister Anne (Treacy), son-in-law Tony, daughters-in-law Mary and Trish, grandchildren Killian, Rachel, David, Stephen, Heather, Josh and Ally, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Tuesday from 5pm, with Funeral Prayers at 6.30pm, followed by removal to St Fiacre’s Church, Loughboy.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 10.30am. Funeral afterwards to Foulkstown Cemetery.

House private. Family flowers only please.
