Laois death notice: Kevin Moroney, Mountrath

Kevin Moroney, New Line Road, Mountrath, Laois and formerly of Killarney, Co Kerry (ex-Garda Siochána) passed away peacefully on 16 September, at the Mountpleasant Lodge Nursing Home, Kilcock, Co Kildare.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Rhoda, daughter Orla, brothers Seán, David, and Cormac, sister Vera.

Dear father to Rhonda, Kevin, Deirdre, Sean and Sinead. Sadly and deeply missed by his family, and their partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Brian, Fergus, sister Mabel, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Kevin Rest in Peace 

 Reposing at his home on the New Line Road (R32XW31) on Friday 19 September from 6pm, with Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Saturday morning to St Edmund’s Church, Castletown (R32KT22) for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by interment in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.
