Laois death notice: Margaret (Peg) O'Mahony (née Phelan), Mountrath

Margaret (Peg) O'Mahony (née Phelan), Douglas West, Douglas, Cork and formerly Mountrath, Laois died peacefully on 14 June at Cork University Hospital, in the presence of her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Mossie, loving mother of Seán, Colm and Deirdre (Hartley) and dear sister of Betty and the late Billy, Jim, Christopher, Maura, Kit and her twin Jude.

Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Caroline and Martina, son-in-law David, grandchildren David, Ronan, Cormac, Colleen, Declan and Kian, great-grandsons Donnacha, Fionn and Tadhg, brother-in-law Seamus, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Colm and Martina’s house, 27 The Green, Greenvalley, Scart Hill, Donnybrook (T12 VP6H) this Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Douglas, which will be live streamed.

Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
