Laois death notice: Margaret (Peg) White (née Mahon), Rathdowney

Margaret (Peg) White (née Mahon), Rapla, Rathdowney, Laois and late of Harristown, died peacefully on 14 June, in her 87th year after a life well lived, surrounded by her loving family in the compassionate care of the wonderful staff of Blackrock Clinic.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Billy, son Patrick, granddaughter Maria and sister Mary (Corcoran).

Devoted mother to Catherine, Julie Anne, Mary, Mairead and Thomas. Adored granny to Clodagh, Eoin, Áine, Padráig, Conor, Dáire, Saoirse, Liam, Seàn, Aoibheann, Dearbhla, Patrick, Marguerite and Ella.

Sadly missed by her sons-in-law Sean, Patrick, Michael and Ian, sister Joan, brothers Paddy, Mick and Johnny, sisters-in-law Rita, Marie and Kay, brother-law Pat (Corcoran), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Reposing at her home in Rapla (R32 HN72) this Wednesday from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm.

Removal on Thursday afternoon to St Tighearnach's Church, Cullohill (R32 EV76) arriving for Requiem Mass at 2pm, followed by interment in Durrow Cemetery.
