Laois death notice: Martin Loughman, Galmoy

Martin Loughman, Cleaghmore, Ballinasloe, Galway/ Laois, formerly of Levalley, Galmoy, passed away peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe on 14 May in his 101st year.

Predeceased by his wife Bridie, parents Margaret and John and his nine siblings. 

Much loved father of Annette, John, Marty and Sinéad and cherished grandad of David, Séan, Clare and Eva Mai. Deeply regretted by his son-in-law Joe, daughter-in-law Alison, sisters-in-law Margaret (Kilrush) and Mary (Dublin), nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful friends and neighbours and former colleagues and students of "The Tech", Ballinasloe.

Martin will repose at his home in Cleaghmore (H53 HT25) on Thursday 15 May, from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to St Michael's Church, Ballinasloe, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery.
