Laois death notice: Mary Flanagan, Portarlington

Mary Flanagan, Derrygrogan ,Ballinagar, Tullamore, Offaly and formerly Droughill, Portarlington, Laois died peacefully on 21 April, surrounded by her loving family, while in the wonderful care of the staff of Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Teresa Flanagan and brother-in-law Jamesie Corcoran.

Deeply regretted by her loving brother Paddy, sisters Bridie (Egan) and Anne (Corcoran), brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and great-grandnephew, relatives, neighbours, friends, staff and fellow residents of Esker Rí Nursing Home.

Reposing at Esker Rí Nursing Home this Thursday evening from 5pm, with Rosary at 7pm.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington, on Friday morning from 8.45am with removal at 9.20am, arriving at St Michael's Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.

Mary's Requiem Mass will be streamed live on the church webcam.
