Laois death notice: Monica (Mon) O'Brien, Portlaoise

Monica (Mon) O'Brien, The Hermitage, Portlaoise, Laois and formerly Dr Murphy Place, Portlaoise died peacefully at home on 6 November, surrounded by her loving family. 

Dearly loved sister to John, Pascal, Mary, Tony, Kieran, Ann, Noel, Pat and David. Predeceased by her parents Séan and Peggy O’Brien (née Rigney).

Fondly missed by all her cousins, nephews, nieces, brother in law, sisters in law, relatives and especially all her colleagues and customers and friends in 4 Aces (BWG).

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. Funeral to arrive for 2pm requiem mass on Saturday in SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise.

Interment will take place in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Cuisle Cancer Support Centre, Portlaoise.
