Laois death notice: Patricia (Trish) Whelan, Mountmellick and Portlaoise

Patricia (Trish) Whelan, Derrycappagh House, Mountmellick and formerly Clonkeen, Portlaoise, Laois died peacefully on 4 November, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Teresa and sister- in-law Kathleen.

Deeply regretted by her loving sister Mary and her partner Mick, brother Ger and his wife June, dearly loved nieces Jenny, Shelly, Debbie, Theresa and her partner Joe, grandnephew Joe and grandniece Lily, her fellow residents, carers and nurses at Derrycappagh House, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Derrycappagh House (R32W9R7) on Thursday from 4pm until 7pm, with rosary at 6pm.

Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise on Friday for 11am Requiem mass, followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Muiríosa Foundation.
