Laois death notice: Peggy (Margaret) Breen (née Gilmartin), Rathdowney

Peggy (Margaret) Breen (née Gilmartin), Knockiel, Rathdowney, Laois died peacefully on 31 May at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, in the presence of her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband P.J., parents James and Mary, sisters and brothers, including Tommy Gilmartin, Rathdowney, who died on 24 May and was interred during the week.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, Mary, Martin and Paddy, son-in-law Ted, daughters-in-law Heather and Theresa, grandchildren Fiona, Patrick, Ciara, Róisín, James, Oonagh, John and Kieran, great-grandchildren Bella and Dylan, sister Tessie, sisters-in-law Lily, Nora and Nancy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at O'Sullivan's funeral home, Rathdowney (R32 NY24) this Wednesday evening from 5pm, pausing for prayers at 7pm.

Removal from her residence on Thursday morning to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery.
