Rafal died suddenly on 11 February. Deeply regretted by his devastated wife Alicja, daughter Patrycja, son Kuba, father Stanislaw, mother Teresa, brother Artur, the extended family and friends in Poland and Ireland.

Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Friday evening 14 February from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.20am, arriving at St Michael's Church, Portarlington (eircode R32 HY38) for Requiem Mass at 11am. Private cremation to take place later.
