Laois death notice: Richard (Dick) Holohan, Rathdowney

Richard (Dick) Holohan, Middlemount, Rathdowney, Laois and formerly Kennedy Park, Roscrea, Co Tipperary, died peacefully on 21 September at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Bridget, his late wife Kit, sister Mary, brothers John and James (who died in infancy) and stepson Terry.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his son Ger, daughter-in-law Caroline, his adored granddaughters Lauren, Jess and Zara, brothers Tony, Denis, Joe and Noel, sisters Bride, Kathleen, Phil and Ber, stepdaughter Monica and her family, stepson Richard and his family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Rest In Peace 

Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney (R32 NY24) on Wednesday evening from 6pm, pausing for prayers at 8pm.

Removal on Thursday morning to St Canice's Church, Clough, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.
