The death occurred of Robert (Bert) Gowan, Meelick, Rosenallis, Laois on Wednesday 16 July, peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff of Emo Court ward, Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his sister Muriel.
Bert will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Edna, sister Margaret, sons Maurice (Paula) and Douglas, grandsons David and Marcus, great-grandchildren Lily, Ollie and Liam, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Bert's gentle soul rest in peace.
A private cremation service at his own request took place on Saturday 19 July.
