Laois death notice: Sarah (Sadie) Duffy (née Brophy), Portarlington

Sarah (Sadie) Duffy (née Brophy), Main Street, Monasterevin, Kildare and formerly of Lough, Portarlington passed away peacefully on 16 February, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Louis, parents James and Christine, her infant brother Patrick, sister Elizabeth and brother Matt.

Cherished mother of Patrick, Anne, Louis, Paul, Brian and Kevin. Sadie will be sadly missed by her daughters in-law Anna, Tina, Liz and Lisa-Marie and her son in-law Thomas and her many grandchildren.

Deeply regretted by her sisters Maura and Christina, her brothers Sean and Seamus, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and large circle of friends.

May Sadie Rest In Peace.

Sadie will be reposing at her residence (W34 RD35) on Wednesday the 18th from 3pm –8pm. Recital of the Rosary at 8pm.

Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Thursday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin for 11am Requiem Mass, which can be viewed on the parish webcam. Interment to follow in Saint Evin’s Cemetery.

House private on Thursday morning.
