Laois death notice: Seamus O’Neill, Mountmellick

Seamus O’Neill, Marian Estate, Kilkee, Co Clare and formerly Mountmellick, Co Laois died peacefully at St Theresa’s Nursing Home, Kilrush on 12 January.

Predeceased by his wife Joan O’Neill (née Harte), his parents James and Jean O’Neill and his brother Paddy.

Sadly missed by his son Terence (Shannon), daughters Eileen Deloughery (Lissycasey), Sharon Roche (Lisdeen, Kilkee) and Sandra Russell (Kilkee), his adored grandchildren Nigel, Ciara, Luke, Ben, Darragh, Zoe, Adam, Finn and Hannah, his loving great- grandchildren Conall, Isla and Kaitlyn, brothers John Joe, Michael and Barry, sister Maura, sons-in-law George and Pat, daughter-in- law Lisa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Seamus rest in peace.

Reposing this Thursday evening in The Prayer Room of St Senan’s Church, Kilkee from 6pm until 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday in Kilkee Church at 11.30am, followed by burial in Lisdeen Cemetery, Kilkee.
