Laois death notice: Sheila Sheehan (née Gowing), Ballinakill

Sheila Sheehan (née Gowing), Killester, Dublin and formerly of Ballinakill, Laois died peacefully on 8 February, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet, Co Cavan.

Loving mother of Denice, Des, Gillian and Tara. Predeceased by her beloved husband Maurice. Very sadly missed by her son and daughters, sons-in-law Paul, Kevin and Alan, grandchildren Katie, Gary, Mark, Jack, David, Shane, Maurice, Luke, Harry, Owen and Ali, great-grandchildren Chris, Eimear, Jake, Ciara and Grace, brothers Fr Eamonn and PJ, sisters Nuala, Moira, Eithne, Gabrielle and Hillary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, special friend Rosemary, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May she rest in peace.

Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St Brigid’s, Killester, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.

The Funeral Mass will be streamed live on Thursday morning at 10am via the Killester parish webcam.
