Laois death notice: Sr Carmela (Ben) Fitzpatrick, Mountmellick

Sr Carmela (Ben) Fitzpatrick, Presentation Sisters, Mountmellick, Laois died peacefully on 11 January, in the great care of The Residence Nursing Home, Portlaoise.

Predeceased by her parents John and Pauline, her brothers Tom, Sean and Fr Paddy, her sisters Patty, Josephine, Anne and Margaret.

Deeply regretted by her sisters Pauline and Phyl, brothers Joe and Eugene, sister-in-law Maura, brother-in-law John Joe, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, her Presentation Community, Sisters of the North East Province and her many friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Presentation Convent, Mountmellick on Monday from 2.30pm – 5.30pm. Removal to St Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick for 6pm prayers.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am, followed by interment in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Acragar, Mountmellick.

Mass will be live-streamed via the parish webcam.
