Laois death notice: Sr Mary Tighe, Errill

Sr Mary Tighe, Sisters of Saint John of God, Sallyville House, Newtown Road, Wexford and formerly of Kylemalawn, Errill, Laois/Rathdowney, Laois, died peacefully on 5 December in the care of the staff and Sisters of Sallyville House, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents John and Teresa, sisters Maura, Breda, Teresa, Angela, Anne, Sr Agatha (Nora), Sr Dympna (Lena), Sr Aloysius (Rita) and her brother Paddy.

Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends and her St John of God community. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Sallyville House (Y35AR25) on Sunday 7 December from 2pm, followed by evening prayer at 6pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Kilkenny followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery.
