Laois death notice: Teresa McCloskey (née Devaney), Portlaoise

Teresa McCloskey (née Devaney), 1 Well Road Court, Portlaoise, Laois passed away peacefully on 29 October, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Jim, and their son Jimmy. Adored mother of Teresa Jr., Séona, Catherine and Jackie.

Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Robert and Ciaran, sisters in law Kathleen and Bridget, daughter in law Triona, grandchildren Danny, Siobhán, Saoirse, Caoimhe, Cian, Aimee, Abigail, Noah, Aaron, Shane and Emily, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

The McCloskey family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Teresa's palliative care team, carers and all those who helped look after Teresa so well.

May Teresa's gentle soul rest in heavenly peace.

Reposing at her daughter Teresa Jr.'s home (R32 K3TT) on Friday 31 October from 5pm - 8pm, with Rosary recital at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise, after which Teresa will be laid to rest in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Portlaoise.

House private on Saturday morning, please.
