Laois death notice: William (Billy) Murphy, Portarlington

William (Billy) Murphy, 12 Foxcroft Court, Portarlington, Laois and formerly of Main Street, Portarlington, Laois died peacefully on 19 September, surrounded by his loving family, at Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan, his parents William and Kathleen, sisters Rita and Bernie, sons-in-law Seamus and Robert.

Much loved and sadly missed by his loving family Jean, Eddie, Una and Noel, sisters Ethna and Noreen, brothers Christy, Timmy, PJ and Eugene, daughters-in-law Carol and Sinead, partners Paul and Tom, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends and by all who knew and loved Billy.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at the family home, 12 Foxcroft Court, Portarlington (R32 NN24) on Sunday evening from 4pm, with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal on Monday morning at 11.15am (travelling via Main Street), arriving at St Michael's Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.

House private on Monday morning, please.
