Laois death notice: William John Stanley, Mountmellick

William John Stanley, Derrycloney, Mountmellick, Laois, better known as John, passed away peacefully on Thursday 16 October at the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, with his loving son Charles by his side.

Predeceased by his wife, Edna Sylvia Stanley.

Deeply regretted by sons Charlie, Peter and Paul, daughters Joan, Hayley and Verity, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick (R32 PC95) on Wednesday from 12 noon. Removal at 1.45pm to Acragar Cemetery, arriving for prayer service at 2pm followed by burial.
