Laois death notice: William (Liam) Mooney, Portarlington

The family would like to thank you for your support and understanding at this sad and difficult time

William (Liam) Mooney, St Michael's Park, Portarlington, Laois died peacefully on 26 April in the tender care of the staff of The Residence Nursing Home. Portlaoise. Predeceased by his parents John (Jackie) and Teresa, brother Larry and sister Josephine (Josie).

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Josephine (Josie), son Liam, brothers Johnie, Paddy and Ger ,sisters Helen, Annie, Margaret, Mary and Teresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Liam rest in peace.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (R32 X5XV) this Tuesday evening from 6pm, with Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Wednesday morning at 9.10am (travelling via his residence and Foxcroft Street), arriving at St Michael's Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.

Liam's Requiem Mass will be streamed live on the church webcam.
