THE Laois Hurlers Golfing Society Captain’s prize takes place on Saturday next in Rathdowney Golf Club.
Always the highlight of their golfing year, one could say it is primarily a social event with a great opportunity to play golf - of any standard.
The Society are pleased and honoured to have Philip Monnelly as their Captain and wish him well for the day.
The tee reserved from 9am-10.30am.
The Society is open to all, with new members of all golfing standards welcome. To become a member, you just need to have played hurling at any level, but must be a current member of a golf club and hold a GUI handicap. Annual membership is €20.
