TWO primary schools in Laois were recognised for their efforts in the ‘2025 Our World Awards For Irish Aid’ and have been shortlisted for a national award.

George Thuillier, Ballinakill and Dublin passed away peacefully on Monday 25 November surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise.

George Thuillier, Masslough Meadows, Ballinakill and formerly of Santry, Dublin died on Monday 25 November at the Regional Hospital in Portlaoise. Georges was predeceased by his wife Carrie.
