Man (30s) dies after being stuck by a bus in Co Kildare
A man has died after being struck by a bus on the N7 motorway eastbound, at Kill, Co. Kildare, on Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred between junction 8 and junction 7.
A pedestrian, a man aged in his 30s, was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght University Hospital.
He later passed away on Saturday evening as a result of the collision. A post-mortem will take place in due course.
The N7 motorway between junction 8 and junction 7 eastbound is currently closed pending a technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time of the collision to make this footage available to Gardaí.
