Acts already lined up for Forest Fest 2026

JUST days after the music stopped ringing out across the village of Emo, the promoter of Forest Fest said he is already gearing up for the fifth festival.

Forest Fest wrapped on a high note, with the capacity crowd of some 12,000 festivalgoers basking in the sunshine and sounds of what many now call one of Ireland’s most beloved independent festivals, and a weekend of standout performances that will live long in the memory.

With 123 acts, the festival delivered unforgettable performances from such acts as Manic Street Preachers, Franz Ferdinand, Travis, Orbital, The Stranglers, Billy Bragg, Pillow Queens, Mary Coughlan, Sharon Shannon and many more.

“It’s been another beautiful, unforgettable weekend here in Emo,” said Festival Director Philip Meagher.

“ The music, the people, the sunshine – the vibe was absolutely spot on. I’m hugely grateful to our team, our artists and the local community for helping make Forest Fest what it is.

“Roll on 2026 – we already have some amazing acts booked.”
