Laois Death Notice: Eileen Carroll (née Hickey), Clonanny House, Portarlington 

Eileen passed away peacefully on the 5 November 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Michael and sons Paul and baby Gerard, siblings John and Joe Hickey. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Geraldine, Deirdre and Aileen, her son Billy, her sons-in-law Kieran and George, daughter-in-law Teresa, much loved sister to Phyllis, Sadie and Brendan. Beloved grandmother of Debbie, Yvonne, Mary, Matthew, Michael, Emma, Gráinne, Ciara and Nicholas. Also remembered by her brother-in-law Mickie Doherty and sisters-in-law Dorothy Hickey and Teresa Carroll, her cousins, nieces, nephews, a large circle of friends and neighbours.

May Eileen Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her daughter Geraldine's residence, Drogheda Street, Monasterevin (eircode W34 PR88) on Friday evening from 4pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10:15am arriving St John's Church, Killenard (R32 VW77) for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
