Funeral arrangements announced for Linda Costello

The funeral arrangements for Linda Costello (54), who died in tragic circumstances on Friday 11 April are as follows.

Linda will repose at Carpenter Brothers Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (R93 C863) on Friday, 17 April from 5pm until 7pm.

She will be removed to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen on Saturday morning at 10.30am and the funeral mass will be held at 11am.

From there, Linda will be brought to Carpenter Bros Cremation Chapel, at Shamrock Square, for cremation service at approximately 12.30pm.

Her loved ones are asking for those who wish to make a donation to do so to Women’s Aid.

Linda died two weeks after being brutally assaulted at her home, at The Towers Apartment, Graiguecullen, Co Carlow on the night of 25 March. She was initially brought by paramedics to St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny, and was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, where she passed away.

Her death caused an outpouring of grief on social media by all those who knew her. She is remembered by her two children, parents, sister, extended family, and many close friends.
