Laois County Council out of hours services over Christmas/New Year
Council offices will be closed over the festive season from 4pm on Monday 23 December to 9am on Monday 30 December and from 5pm on Tuesday 31 December to 9am on Thursday 2 January.
LAOIS County Council has engaged a Cork based support and research company to provide a call answering service over the Christmas and New Year period.
Arema Connect will provide the call answering service for non-fire emergencies such as issues with roads, housing and water services while the council offices are closed over the festive season from 4pm on Monday 23 December to 9am on Monday 30 December and from 5pm on Tuesday 31 December to 9am on Thursday 2 January.
Those in need of assistance to deal with roads, housing or water services can access the service by phoning the main council switchboard on 057 8664000.
When they get through to that number they will be provided with two options; Press 1 to access the out of hours service - Press 2 to leave a message and customers will be responded to when the council offices reopens.
