A Laois man was among a congregation of close to 1600 from throughout Ireland, who attended the Irish Kidney Association’s 39th Annual Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving for organ donors and grateful transplant recipients. Joseph Molloy from Abbeyleix, who is grateful for the successful kidney transplant he received seventeen years ago made possible by a deceased donor, attended the service held in the Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall, Dublin 9 in October. The Service will be broadcast on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player on this Sunday, 17 November at 11am. For more information visit the Irish Kidney Association's website www.ika.ie/service2024/
