Mountmellick Men's Shed launches new podcast

Mountmellick Men's Shed members have launched a podcast
MAGNIFICENT men at Mountmellick Men’s Shed have launched a podcast, capturing the magic of what makes the shed so special.
The podcast sees Joe Kelly, Brian Lynch, Tom Gorry and the friendly shed members open up about their lives, their stories and the laughter that keeps them going.
An excited community education team at Laois Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) said on social media today: ‘This isn’t just a podcast – it’s a window into the heart of a vibrant community.’
The men celebrate the history of Mountmellick Men’s Shed, tackle everyday challenges and have a bit of craic along the way. The podcast features honest conversations, personal reflections and practical advice, all told by the men who make the shed a warm and welcoming place.
The venture was supported by LOETB Community Education and Adult Literacy for Life.
The LOETB said: ‘From heartfelt reflections to exploring local history and learning new skills, this podcast captures the magic of what makes the Men’s Shed so special – connection, support and plenty of craic.
‘We’re so proud to have worked with the Men’s Shed on this amazing project. Together, we’ve shown how lifelong learning can change lives – creating space for new skills, fresh stories and connections that truly matter.’
The podcast proves that it’s never too late to learn something new or to share your story.
