Pitbull odds-on for Electric Picnic

Mr Worldwide is catching punters’ eyes with some expecting him to appear at Electric Picnic this year, according to Ladbrokes.

Following his sold-out 3Arena show and subsequently announcing two more shows in Dublin, the superstar is odds-on to appear in Stradbally in August (8/11).

Meanwhile, Dublin band Inhaler are evens to make another appearance at Ireland’s biggest music festival.

Former Ireland Eurovision contestant Mickey Joe Harte has also been tipped to appear, following his run on Dancing With The Stars (3/1).

Many are also backing international superstars Scissor Sisters to take up a spot at the festival (3/1).

Another batch of Electric Picnic tickets sold out in 15 minutes on Monday, despite only five of the six headliners being announced.

Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes commented: “Pitbull is proving popular with punters who want Mr Worldwide to rock Stradbally. His 3Arena shows blew everyone’s expectations and the Fireball singer is the most popular in the betting to be added to the lineup.”
