RTÉ to broadcast from Portlaoise on Good Friday

A SPECIAL RTÉ television programme will be broadcast live from Ss Peter & Paul's Church in Portlaoise this Good Friday.
The Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord, with Very Reverend Monsignor John Byrne CG PP as chief celebrant, will be broadcast live from the parish church on Friday 18 April.
The Portlaoise Parish Contemporary Choir will perform under director Nuala Kelly and people are invited to tune in on Friday afternoon.
Nuala said on social media: ‘Good Friday music, my favourite of the whole year and this year we get to share it far and wide. Come and join us in person at Ss Peter & Paul's Church, Portlaoise at 3pm or tune in live on RTÉ One television.’
