Search underway for missing Laois woman 

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Carmel Mulligan (54) who was reported missing from Borrisi-in-Ossory, Co. Laois since Friday 26th June 2026.

Carmel is described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height, with long black hair, and blue eyes.

Carmel was last wearing a black fleece with a light blue stripe on the sleeves and black jeans on the evening of Friday 26th June 2026.

Carmel has access to a Grey Suzuki Swift with a 07-D registration.

Gardaí and Carmel’s family are concerned for her safety.
