Singer/songwriter writes poem in support of Zelensky

A SINGER/SONGWRITE from close to the Laois border wrote an impassioned poem about the recent Trump/Zelensky meeting which has been shared on social media and read out by Clem Ryan on KFM.
Caroline Wall Dixon, who has been a resident of Maganey, Athy, watched the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky over the weekend.
She said: “The man was ambushed and humiliated. I felt sorry for him.” Caroline believes the behaviour of Trump was unprofessional and that they would have treated Zelensky that way “even if he’d worn a suit.” She continued: “I write poetry and songs to express myself. I like to explain it the way I see things.” Caroline is a local singer/songwriter and mother of six, who has been releasing songs under the name ‘Finella Balla Dixxy’.
She has seen great support for her music from local radio stations, especially Radio Castledermot.
